First half goals by Michael Olunga and Eric Johannah gave stars a deserved two nil lead before Wanyama sealed the victory with a 66th minute penalty.

With Kasarani Stadium full to capacity,and a pledge of 50million from the Deputy President for a win it was evident their morale and motivation for the three points was unquestionable.

Fans started streaming in as early as 8:00 a.m with match slotted to kick off at 4 p.m.

Stars currently on top of the group with seven points will qualify to the Cup of Nations if Confederation of African Football will confirm the ban on Sierra Leone from the qualifiers
